When you shop with us, we want you to be completely satisfied. If you are not satisfied with a purchase made at the Web Site, you may return it for an exchange or refund of the purchase price you paid minus all shipping charges. We can only accept returns purchased through the Web Site. All purchases made through a department store or an ara store must be returned to the original place of purchase.

Returns should be shipped within 30 days of the receipt of the original shipment with the receipt from your ara-shoes.net purchase. We can only issue refunds to the original form of payment used for your purchase.

We will contact you if we receive a return that has been damaged or worn and will return this item to you. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All ara-shoes.net returns must be shipped using the return label provided in the box with your original order. If a return label was not included with your order or has been misplaced, please contact us for assistance.

We can only issue credit to the same credit card used for the purchase. If we believe that the product you've returned has been damaged or worn, we will send it back to you as soon as possible. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We do not take title to returned products until the item arrives at our returns department. ara does not permit bulk buying for purposes of resale. Although we would like to sell as many ara products as possible, we also want customers to benefit from ara’s footwear knowledge, experience, and service. ara’s reputation as one of the premier footwear brands in the world is based on superior service. On ara’s ecommerce site, we ensure you receive the right shoe for you in the right size. If your ara shoes don’t fit or you are otherwise unsatisfied and you purchased them at us.ara.com, you may return them by mail or to an authorized ara store in accordance with ara’s . Likewise, ara products purchased at ara-shoes.net are covered by ara’s Products purchased from unauthorized resellers are not eligible for return or warranty coverage.

To be clear, if you purchase a pair of ara shoes for personal use and decide to resell them later, that is permissible. Likewise, under certain circumstances, we may permit bulk purchases for promotional proposes or specific events. As a general matter, however, purchasing in bulk solely for purposes of resale is prohibited.

You may purchase no more than ten separate ara products in any one order. If you require more than ten products for personal use or gifts, you may place more than one order. However, repeated purchases amounting to more than ten products may be scrutinized to ensure they are not intended for resale. Orders determined to be for resale may be rejected.

19. Warranty

ARA LIMITED WARRANTY INFORMATION

ara’s One-Year Limited Warranty applies solely to ara products purchased at our website, ara-shoes.net, or from authorized ara shoes, Inc. retailers. The One-Year Limited Warranty is void if purchased from an unauthorized dealer. Some defects such as deteriorating soles go beyond the One-Year Limited Warranty. ara reserves the right to inspect any shoe for determination of warranty coverage. ARA DOES NOT OFFER REPAIRS OR REFURBISHMENT.

ara’s One-Year Limited Warranty Covers the Following:

• Stitching
• All hardware – eyelets, hooks, buckles and ornaments
• Quality of leather – inconsistencies resulting in premature wear patterns
• GORE-TEX guaranteed to be waterproof for the lifespan of the product
• Attachment of soles to upper and of components of soles to one another
• Durability of outsole – will not deteriorate, crack, or split under normal wearing conditions

The Following are NOT Covered under ara’s One-Year Limited Warranty:

• Material failure caused by excessive wear, unreasonable use, exposure to caustic chemicals, extreme heat, alterations, or abnormal wear related to occupation
• Any alterations such as heel taps or resoling
• Stitching or hardware failure due to being caught, hooked, snagged or other abnormal wearing accidents
• Leather not properly treated to keep from drying out
• GORE-TEX failure due to complete submersion in water or allowing the water to seep over the top of the footwear
• Separation of soles or sole components due to being caught, hooked, snagged or cut
• Normal wear on soles or heels due to individual wear patterns, or heavy wear associated with occupation
• Poor fit

ara Return and Inspection Process:
ara reserves the right to inspect any shoe for determination for warranty coverage. After inspection, if the shoes are deemed defective, they become the property of ara and you will receive a credit voucher. A credit voucher may not be combined with any other discounts or promotions. If it is determined that the shoes are not covered under the Limited Warranty, your shoes will be returned to you. All ara warranty decisions are final.

• Allow 3 to 4 weeks for the warranty inspection process
• Shoes returned for warranty inspection must be in good condition and cared for properly as outlined in the “Shoe Care” section on our website
• Continue to the next page to start your warranty claim
• Once you complete this process, you will receive a warranty claim number. Be sure to retain this to track your claim.
